Rawlings model NJA28, from the 2016 season, exhibits evidence of excellent use with a handle crack. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat impressions and black show polish cleat marks can be seen on the left barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut and black streaks from contact with other bats. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle and Rawlings logo. The date of manufacture (09/09/16), Ref’s initials (RR), order number (023) and year (16) are stamped into the knob. The bat has been authenticated by MLB Authentication Services and Steiner Sports and their holograms (JB762773, 230691) are affixed to the front barrel. A nice Yankee era bat of the Blue Jays utility player!
