Marucci model EN9 Custom Cut-M, from the 2018 season, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on all sides of the barrel. Also visible on the bat are streaks from contact with other bats and an impression from a weighted batting donut. There is a heavy coat of Mota Stick on the upper handle and Marucci logo. The date of manufacture (02/27/18), length (3.5) and weight (1.5) are stamped into the knob. Also stamped into the knob of the bat is the number ’10’, which was worn by Nunez as a member of the San Francisco Giants, prior to his signing with the Boston Red Sox. Nunez was signed by Boston on February 18th, 2018. The subject bat was made for him on February 27th, 2018. The manufacturer overlooked the change of teams, stamping the bat with Nunez’s Giants number ’10’. A Eduardo Nunez signature and the added inscription ‘G/U 2018’ are on the front barrel in silver marker. A great bat of the All Star infielder!
