Louisville Slugger model R161, circa 1982-1983, shows evidence of excellent use with a handle crack that has been repaired. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right and back barrel. The handle has been scored to enhance the grip. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the mid handle and a light coat on the lower handle. Boggs’ number (26) is written on the knob in black marker. The bat has been graded a PSA GU9. A great bat of the Hall of Fame 3rd  baseman!
