Vintage Spalding ‘Ring’ bat circa 1885 was used during America’s Industrial Revolution. This style bat is frequently pictured in team photos from the era as well in studio shots of the players which were popular during the era. The bat displays pro quality straight narrow grain with ball marks visible on all sides of the barrel. What appear to be cleat marks can be seen on the upper front barrel. The bat has a handle crack that has been repaired and there is a small chip on the knob.
