Hillerich & Bradsby model S44, from the 1973-1975 season, exhibits evidence of excellent use with a crack on the center brand. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Cleat marks can also be seen on the right, left and back barrel. There is a light coat of pine tar on the mid handle. The model number (S44) is stamped into the knob and Munson’s number (15) is written on the knob in black marker.  The bat is graded PSA GU9.  A great bat of the Yankee captain and 1978 American League MVP!
