Rare Hillerich & Bradsby model G154, from the 1976 season, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of excellent use. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right and back barrel. Ball marks include black ink transfers. Garvey’s number (6) is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. A Steve Garvey autograph with the added notation “74 NL MVP” are on the front barrel in black marker. The autograph has been authenticated by PSA and their sticker (4C37366) is affixed to the back of the handle. The bat has been graded a PSA GU9. A great Bicentennial bat of the All-Star 1st baseman and 1974 National League MVP.

The bat is accompanied by a PSA Letter of Authenticity and a letter from the 1974-1975 Cincinnati Reds visiting clubhouse batboy.
