Old Hickory model MT27*, from the 2022 season, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of excellent use.  Several ball marks are visible on the left and back barrel.  Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs.  A ring from a weighted batting donut can be seen on the barrel.  The handle has been taped approximately 10″ in a spiral pattern with Lizard Skins tape.  The noted weight of the bat includes the tape application.  There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle.  The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat.  This is a mandatory marking, per Major League Baseball, for all maple bats since January 2009.  A Mike Trout autograph with the added notation “22 G/U” is on the front barrel in silver.   The bat is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Anderson Authentics and their hologram (6267) is affixed to the knob.
