Old Hickory model number MT27*, from the 2023 season, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the right and back barrel. The handle has been taped approximately 10″ in a spiral pattern with Lizard Skins tape to enhance the grip and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The length (33.5) is stamped on the front barrel. The bat has been identified being used by Trout on Jackie Robinson Day, April 15, 2023. We reference Getty Image #1251863081. A Mike Trout signature and the added inscription “23 G/U” are on the front barrel in silver marker.   A great bat of the All Star Centerfielder!
