Rawlings/Adirondack model 256B Mark McGwire professional model bat is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Also visible on the bat are green bat rack streaks and an impression from a weighted batting donut. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The model number (256B), order number (041) and year (91) are stamped into the knob. ‘McGwire’ is written on the knob in black ink. McGwire’s number (25) is written on the knob and top barrel in green marker. A Mark McGwire signature is on the front barrel in blue marker. The autograph has been authenticated by PSA Authentication Services (AJ05392). The knob, with the player number in marker, and identifiable marks on the front barrel have been photo matched to the 1992 Colla Collection Card #8. The bat has been graded a PSA GU10. A great bat of the All Star 1st baseman!
