Rawlings/Adirondack model 256B, from the 1994 season, exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack that has been repaired. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left, front and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Also visible on the bat are green bat rack streaks. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the lower handle and a light coat on the Rawlings center brand. The model number (256B), order number (019) and year (94) are stamped into the knob. The weight “33” and “McGwire” are written on the knob in ball point pen. McGwire’s number “Two Five” is written on the knob in black marker. The bat has been graded a PSA GU9.5. A great A’s bat of the All Star 1st baseman!
