Louisville Slugger model K100, circa 1980-1983, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks are visible on all sides of the barrel. Also visible on the bat are blue bat rack streaks and there is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. Torre’s number (9) and “Nine” are written on the knob in black marker. Fungo bats are used by coaching staff during batting practice for infield grounders and outfield fly balls. Joe Torre was the manager for the Mets for the 1980-1981 seasons and for the Atlanta Braves for the 1982-1983 seasons. A nice bat of the Hall of Fame manager!
