Sam bat model GS1, from the 2003 season, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on the front and left barrel. The lower handle and knob have been wrapped with tape in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the lower handle. The length (34.5), weight (32 oz), date of manufacture (05.27.2003), model number (GS1) and order number (1889) are written on the top barrel in black ink. The length (34.5) is written on the knob in gold marker.  The bat is graded PSA GU10. Gary Sheffield signature and the added inscription “Game Used” are on the front barrel in silver marker.  A great bat of the Braves All Star outfielder!

The bat is accompanied by a PSA Letter of Authenticity.
