Classic Hillerich & Bradsby model P89, from Robinson’s 1964 Cincinatti Reds season, exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a slight handle crack that has been repaired. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the front, right and left barrel. Cleat marks can be seen on the left barrel. Also visible on the bat are red and green bat rack streaks and there is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number (P89) is stamped into the knob. Robinson’s number (20) is written on the knob in fading black marker. The weight of the bat ’33’ is on the knob in pencil. The bat has been graded a PSA GU9.5. A great bat of the Hall of Fame outfielder and 1st baseman!
