Controlling the Game model 342-Maple-34, from the 2008 season, exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack that has been repaired. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on all sides of the barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle. Beltran’s number (15) is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. The bat has been authenticated by MLB Authentication Services and their hologram (BB897857) is affixed to the front barrel. The bat has been graded a PSA GU9.5. A great bat of the All Star centerfielder!
