Louisville Slugger model C271, from the 2014 season, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Slight checking (grain swelling) from repeated ball contact is on the back barrel. Numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the right, left and back barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut and there is a moderate coat of pine tar on the mid handle. The date of manufacture (3/27/14), length (34.5) and weight (32.0) are stamped into the knob. Phillips’ number (4) is written on the knob in silver marker. This bat has been graded a PSA GU9.5. A great Reds bat of the All Star 2nd baseman!
