Huge 36.5 inch Adirondack model 154X, from the 1974 season, exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack that has been repaired with small finishing nails. Numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include black ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on the left barrel. Also visible on the bat are blue bat rack streaks and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The model number (154X) is stamped into the knob and “Bonds” is written on the knob in black marker. The bat is accompanied by a letter from the Reds 1974/75 visiting clubhouse batboy who received the bat from Bonds. A great bat of the All Star right-fielder accompanied by our PSA Letter of Authenticity graded GU 9.
