Hillerich & Bradsby model C235, from the 1973 season, exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include black ink transfers. Also visible on the bat are red bat rack streaks and there is a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle. To the right of ‘Powerized” is the ‘Yosh Marked’ model number C235. The model number (C235) is stamped into the knob. Madlock’s number “18” is written on the knob in black marker over his rookie number “38” indicating the bat was used by him during his major league debut with the 1974 Texas Rangers followed by his first year with the Chicago Cubs.  The bat is graded PSA GU9.  A Bill Madlock autograph with added notation “Rookie Gamer” is on the front barrel in black marker.  The autograph has been authenticated by PSA and their sticker (4C35761) is affixed to the back of the handle.  A great bat of the All Star infielder!

The bat is accompanied by a PSA Letter of Authenticity and a letter from the 1974-1975 Cincinnati Reds visiting clubhouse batboy.
