Louisville Slugger model K48, circa 1983-1986, exhibits evidence of excellent use with a handle crack. Slight checking (grain swelling) from repeated ball contact is on the back barrel. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Also visible on the bat are red bat rack streaks and an impression from a weighted batting donut. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. A Ron Kittle signature and the added inscription “83 AL ROY” are on the front barrel in black marker. The bat has been graded a PSA GU8.5. A great bat of the All Star 1st baseman, left-fielder and designated hitter!
