Hillerich & Bradsby model D143, circa 1974-1975, exhibits evidence of excellent use with a handle crack. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Also visible on the bat are red and blue bat rack streaks. The left barrel has been scored and there is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number (D143) is stamped into the knob. Mota’s number (11) is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. A Manny Mota signature and the added inscription “To Gary Best Wishes Sincerely” are on the front barrel also in black marker. The bat has been graded a PSA GU9. A great bat of the All Star left-fielder!

The bat is accompanied by a PSA Letter of Authenticity and a letter from the 1974-1975 Cincinnati Reds visiting clubhouse batboy.
